Literature Text

I place my god here
I place my god there
I place my god anywhere
You can move your god to and fro
It is not cleansed by the rain
It is washed off in vain
In your eyes you believe it can see
You believe it can breathe
It can only stare through soullessness
It can only stare through desperation and despair
Their eyes are watching God
but are far from it.
Corrupt, fallen I have become
Sunken, deep, dark has it taken me
For my god is still
For my god steals life
For my god seats there, waiting to be exposed.

For my God cannot be put on a stage
For my God cannot be put in a shrine
For my God cannot be put into a pocket
For my God is not put into a box
For my God is the one people like to create
But He is the Creator not the creation.

For my God lives inside of me
For He is Supreme
idols are casted aside. They soon will be destroyed.
Bow, kneel, glean, clean it.
You don't mean it.
Bow, kneel, glean, clean it.
You don't mean it.
Worship, praise, honor, reverence, exalt
The One True God who has brought you out!
